Public relations publications are tools that shape how an audience will view an organization. Whether it's through brochures or press kits, publications communicate brand identity and build credibility. Tools such as Canva and Adobe are helpful for creating quality materials, while other platforms can share them strategically. Through this class, I have realized how important it's to understand and know your audience. Every message and image should have a direct communication to the people who are needing to be reached. Audience research guides not only tone but the design because it's about readability and emotional impact. I think some of the element designs such as contrast and balance play a role in how information is viewed. A good design makes a clear message and is compelling also. If you don't have that, the strongest content can be overlooked. This class has taught me how to be a public relations professional isn't about attention, it's about creating a good impression. This can only occur when there is a combination of strategic thinking and creative execution. PR publications aren't assignments, but they are tools that shape reputations and actions.
